Integrated approaches to mainstreaming, acceleration and policy support for the SDGs

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development speaks to the core mandate and values of the United Nations system, including promoting and encouraging respect for human rights for all. United Nations entities are providing relevant knowledge and technical assistance on sustainable development challenges, opportunities and solutions with the aim of advancing progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The United Nations Sustainable Development Group’s joint mainstreaming, acceleration and policy support approach provides an umbrella framework for such support to enable United Nations Country Teams and resident coordinators to better support governments in delivering on the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
